The Stingray model is based on a board I first built in the early 80s. Ive made some radical changes since then. Its wider, and the bottom is a single to double concave, all the way through through the tail. There is a wing 20 inches from the tail, going into a super hard edge, giving you more bite in your turns. The rails are chimed like the 80s, this is a super high performance board, that you can ride in almost all conditions.

A very fast board that changes directions quickly, holds rail in critical situations, and still performs on a softer wave.

My team rider who is 5’11 165lbs rode this board at 5’8 x 20' 1/2 x 2 3/8 31L and said this.

“ I rode the board 3 Inches shorter, and 2 inches wider than my standard short board. It gave me the freedom to draw smoother lines, and felt more alive under my feet in average surf. I would ride this in smaller surf all the way up to 6ft +. When I put the board on rail it wants to turn fast and tight. It carries a ton of speed through the turn. I could see someone ordering this board in whatever size suits them. High performance dims for more short board feel, or more mid range dims for a more relaxed, but still high performance feel.”
